Obama Sets Internet Ablaze With ‘Sick’ Reaction To WHCD Attack

Former President Barack Obama following an alleged assassination attempt against President Donald Trump during the White House Correspondents’ Dinner in Washington.

According to the article, Obama posted a message condemning political violence and praising the courage of United States Secret Service agents. In his statement, Obama said that authorities had not yet established a motive for the attack. Critics cited in the text argued that this was inaccurate because a manifesto allegedly written by the suspect had already surfaced publicly before Obama’s remarks.

The suspect is identified as Cole Allen, a 31-year-old from California. The article says Allen reportedly sent a written manifesto to family members about ten minutes before the incident. In that document, he allegedly explained his motives, expressed rage toward the administration, and stated that his intended targets included Trump and cabinet officials.

The text quotes portions of the manifesto in which Allen described himself as acting because he believed government actions reflected on him as a citizen. He also outlined what he called “rules of engagement,” prioritizing administration officials while claiming others were not primary targets. Toward the end of the message, he reportedly wrote that he felt anger over what the administration had done.

Law enforcement officials said Allen was armed with several weapons, including a shotgun, a handgun, and knives. Authorities allege he rushed a security checkpoint at the Washington Hilton, where the dinner was taking place, before being stopped by Secret Service officers and other security personnel.

The dinner was attended by Trump, Melania Trump, JD Vance, cabinet officials, journalists, and invited guests. Witnesses described confusion and panic as gunfire erupted near the ballroom entrance, with many attendees initially unsure what had happened and taking cover under tables.

One federal officer was reportedly struck in a bullet-resistant vest during the confrontation and is expected to recover. Reports also claimed the suspect may have assembled a larger weapon near the entrance before moving toward the checkpoint.

Allen was subdued at the scene, taken into custody, and transported to a hospital before charges were announced. Federal prosecutors are reportedly considering serious charges, including firearm-related offenses and assault on a federal officer.

Trump was safely evacuated, later praised the rapid security response, and the Correspondents’ Association postponed and rescheduled the event.
