Even the U.S. Can’t Believe What Italy Just Sent to Ukraine… Putin is POWERLESS

Italy is reportedly preparing or expanding military assistance to Ukraine focused on strengthening its air-defense capabilities ahead of another winter of Russian missile and drone attacks. The report centers on the SAMP/T system and its Aster 30 interceptor, which Italy and France have supplied to Ukraine as part of European efforts to protect critical infrastructure and population centers.

The SAMP/T family is designed to defend against aircraft, cruise missiles, and certain ballistic-missile threats. The report specifically highlights the Aster 30’s role against Russian systems such as the Kinzhal and Iskander. However, describing the interceptor as a guaranteed “Kinzhal killer” or claiming it can completely defeat Russia’s ballistic arsenal would overstate what publicly available evidence demonstrates.

The report also claims that a new Italian aid package could be worth approximately $3 billion and that some equipment was presented publicly as civilian generators to conceal its military purpose. Such claims about the size and secrecy of the package would require independent confirmation. Italy has previously provided military and air-defense assistance to Ukraine, but the details of individual classified deliveries are not always publicly disclosed.

Another element is the possibility of expanding defense-industrial cooperation with Ukraine, including local production and maintenance of advanced missile systems. Greater Ukrainian production could eventually reduce dependence on foreign supply chains and improve the sustainability of air-defense operations.

The report additionally claims that Ukrainian technology official Mykhailo Fedorov has taken on an advisory role connected to Italian defense efforts. That specific appointment should also be independently verified.

Overall, the reported developments point to deeper European-Ukrainian cooperation on air defense and defense production, while the precise value, delivery schedule, and operational capabilities described remain subject to confirmation.
