Hunter Drops 7-Word Response to Melania’s $1 Billion Lawsuit Threat

A public dispute involving Melania Trump and Hunter Biden reportedly escalated after Hunter Biden refused to apologize for remarks linking Melania to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

The controversy began during a YouTube interview with journalist Andrew Callaghan, where Hunter Biden claimed that Epstein had introduced Melania to her future husband, President Donald Trump. Melania’s attorney, Alejandro Brito, denied the allegation in a legal letter, calling it false, defamatory, and highly damaging.

According to reports, Brito demanded a retraction and apology while threatening a $1 billion lawsuit. The letter argued that the claim caused serious reputational and financial harm to the First Lady.

Hunter Biden later returned to Callaghan’s program and was asked whether he would apologize. He responded bluntly that he would not. He then pointed to the previously documented social relationship between Trump and Epstein, while also acknowledging uncertainty about the specific claim involving Melania.

He said he was relying on public reporting and commentary, including material from author Michael Wolff, who has written books critical of Trump. Trump has repeatedly dismissed Wolff’s credibility.

Melania Trump’s spokesperson, Nick Clemens, responded by saying her legal team is actively seeking retractions and apologies from anyone spreading false claims. He added that the true story of how Melania met Trump is described in her memoir, Melania.

In that book, Melania wrote that she met Donald Trump at a 1998 Fashion Week party in New York City, where they were introduced by a modeling agent.

The dispute adds to Hunter Biden’s ongoing legal and public controversies. In recent years, he has been involved in multiple lawsuits involving media outlets and individuals connected to reporting about his laptop and personal life. Former President Joe Biden also granted Hunter a pardon before sentencing in separate criminal matters.

Overall, the feud reflects the continued political and personal tensions between families connected to the two most recent presidential administrations, with legal threats and media battles likely to continue.
