Trump Says Iran Conflict Nearing End As U.S. Military Objectives Are Met

President Donald Trump stated the conflict with Iran is nearing its conclusion, with U.S. military objectives close to being achieved. In a message on Truth Social, Trump outlined key goals, including weakening Iran’s missile systems, dismantling its defense production, eliminating its naval and air forces, preventing nuclear weapon development, and ensuring the safety of allied nations. He portrayed these objectives as largely accomplished.

Trump also suggested that responsibility for securing the Strait of Hormuz should shift to allied countries that depend on it for trade, rather than the United States. While offering potential support if requested, he emphasized that ongoing U.S. involvement should not be necessary once Iran’s threat is fully neutralized. He described maintaining security in the region as a manageable task.

Additionally, Trump highlighted the success of Operation Epic Fury, claiming it has significantly weakened Iran’s military strength. He pointed to joint U.S. and Israeli efforts as having severely reduced Iran’s naval, air, and defense capabilities, while also suggesting disruptions within Iran’s leadership. Overall, the message presents a confident assessment of progress and signals a potential winding down of U.S. military efforts in the region.
