Reports on a tragic plane crash in Wyoming that claimed the lives of seven people connected to the renowned gospel group The Nelons. The small private aircraft was en route to Alaska for the Gaither Homecoming Cruise, a major Christian music event, when it went down after reportedly experiencing mechanical trouble and catching fire midair.
Among the victims were key members of the group, Jason Clark and Kelly Nelon Clark, along with pilot Larry Haynie and his wife Melissa, family assistant Melanie Hodges, her daughter Amber, and Amber’s husband Nathan Kistler. The only immediate family member not on board was Autumn Nelon Streetman, who later released a heartfelt statement expressing profound grief and gratitude for the support received.
