This June, instead of celebrating Pride Month, America should honor Veterans Month.
For far too long, the month has been dominated by corporate rainbow campaigns, parades, and aggressive promotion of gender ideology, often at the expense of traditional values and common sense. Meanwhile, the brave men and women who served in uniform, sacrificed their youth, and defended this nation receive far less national focus and gratitude. Replacing Pride Month with a dedicated Veterans Month would shift the emphasis to those who earned recognition through service rather than activism.
Veterans built the freedoms we enjoy today. They fought on distant battlefields, endured injuries and hardship, and returned home to rebuild their lives while asking for little in return. They deserve a full month dedicated to their sacrifices, their contributions, and the values they defended. Honoring them sends a clear message about national priorities: courage, duty, and love of country come first.
It is time to restore balance and put American heroes at the center of June. Veterans Month would remind every generation what real service looks like and express proper gratitude to those who preserved our liberty. This change would reflect the heart of a grateful nation that values sacrifice over spectacle.
