US military strikes have targeted and destroyed multiple military installations in Iran.

Reports indicate the United States has carried out a new wave of military strikes against multiple targets inside Iran, marking a significant escalation in the ongoing conflict between the two countries. According to statements from U.S. Central Command, the attacks were described as “self-defense strikes” conducted in response to what Washington called continued Iranian aggression, including recent attacks on U.S. forces and regional shipping routes.

The strikes reportedly targeted Iranian military infrastructure, including air-defense systems, surveillance radar installations, and command-and-control facilities. Explosions were reported in several areas, though Iranian authorities have not yet released a full assessment of the damage.

Some intelligence and media reports suggest that senior Iranian military personnel may have been among the casualties. However, official confirmation regarding the identities or ranks of those killed remains limited, and casualty figures are still being verified. At this stage, reports of high-ranking officer deaths should be treated as preliminary.

The latest attacks follow days of heightened tensions, including the downing of a U.S. military helicopter near the Strait of Hormuz and subsequent exchanges of missile, drone, and air strikes between Iran and U.S. forces. Iran has vowed retaliation, raising concerns that the conflict could expand further across the Middle East. Regional governments and international leaders are closely monitoring developments as the situation continues to evolve.
